Team Bulletin Board

March 12, 2007

The task of decorating our bulletin board at work is now a competition and is being rotated from group to group. My team was first up. Here’s our entry.

It’s very 3D. Look at it from the side. Who else has a bulletin board with a windowsill and curtains?

I wish I could say it was my idea, but all I contributed was the origami butterflies and bird which are almost not visible here.

Since we’re at work, here’s the rest of the tour. My cube…

The tomatoes are growing faster now that the weather is warming up.

Here Ed and Lucy eat what they can reach of the crimson clover. Look how tall its getting.

  2. Very creative bulletin board! Very cute bunnies! :)

Our seedlings are about that size too? But we don’t know at what point we are to put them in the ground. Any advice? We’ve got a couple of carrots, peppers, tomato I think …not sure it’s a cub scout project.

  3. Amy, You mean you have pumpkin seedlings? April/May is traditionally the time to transplant seedlings or plant seeds. But its so warm now and I just don’t think its going to get cold again. Pumpkins are supposed to require warm soil, but they’re happily sprouting now so I’m thinking we can get a very early start this year. Gardening would be a great cub scout activity.

  4. We might have a pumpkin - sadly I don’t really know because Daddy went with him and I can’t tell one green plant from another lol! Maybe I should take a picture - could you tell what it was from a picture? ;)

  5. Amy, Show me the pictures and I’ll tell you if they are pumpkins. Too bad the pictures I’ve taken so far aren’t more detailed.
